3 March 2011 - Pellegrini's Unwelcome Return

On 3 March 2011, Real Madrid welcomed their former manager back to the Bernabeu by crushing his new team 7-0.

The manager in question was Manuel Pellegrini, who had taken charge of Real Madrid in June 2009 for their second Galacticos period that saw them acquire Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo, Xabi Alonso, and Karim Benzema for an approximate total of £200M in transfer fees. But after only one season--in which they finished as league runners-up to Barcelona--the club sacked Pellegrini in order to hire José Mourinho.

In November 2010, Pellegrini signed a three-year deal to manage Málaga. They had already lost to Real Madrid in the league the previous month, so the game in March was his first time facing his former employers.

It was a rout. Two of Pellegrini's signings scored a total of five goals (three from Ronaldo and two from Benzema), while Ángel di María and and Marcelo added goals of their own to stretch the margin to 7-0. When the final whistle blew, Málaga were down to nine men, with one ejected and one injured after Pellegrini had made all three substitutions.

Although the loss sent them down to 19th place, things did get better for the club. They finished the season in eleventh, and are currently sitting in sixth this season.

20 August 2003 - Ronaldo Goes International

On 20 August 2003, winger Cristiano Ronaldo made his first appearance for Portugal in a 1-0 victory over Kazakhstan.



Only 18 years old, he was clearly a star in the making for the national team, having already played 25 times for Portugal's youth teams and scoring 11 goals. And, just ten days before his senior international debut, he completed a high-profile move from Sporting to Manchester United.



The match itself was an inauspicious friendly, with the only goal coming from Portuguese midfielder Simão Sabrosa in the 65th minute. It was a lucky bounce, as Kazakhstan defender Ihor Soloshenko's attempted clearance hit Sabrosa in the chest and deflected into the goal. But Ronaldo became a regular starter for the Selecção, helping them reach the Euro 2004 final and fourth place in the 2006 World Cup.



In 2007, Ronaldo claimed the captain's armband for Portugal, leading them to the Euro 2008 quarterfinals and the 2010 World Cup Round of 16. He currently ranks sixth on the team's all-time appearances list with 82 and fifth on their all-time scoring list with 27 goals.



Since that first appearance, Portugal and Kazakhstan have played twice in Euro qualifiers. Ronaldo scored a goal in each match as Portugal won both times.

6 July 2009 - Ronaldo's Real Big Welcome

On 6 July 2009, over 80,000 people gathered at the Bernabéu to meet Real Madrid's newest star, Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo. The event was the culmination of an effort that took over two years and £80 million to complete.

Rumors of Real Madrid's interest in Ronaldo surfaced in March 2007, but Manchester United were unwilling to part with him and signed him to a five-year extension worth £31 million. But while winning the Premier League with United in 2007, 2008, and 2009, as well as the 2008 Champions League, the winger began to reciprocate the interest from the Spaniards. And on 11 June 2009, the two clubs reached a deal. Real Madrid paid an £80 million transfer fee to United, while Ronaldo received a 6-year deal worth €11 million per year. The signing was part of a second Galácticos wave that included Kaká, Karim Benzema, and Xabi Alonso.

To welcome Ronaldo to Madrid, the club hosted a presentation at the Bernabéu. 80,000 people showed up to watch Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez hand Ronaldo the number 9 shirt that had once been worn by club legends Hugo Sanchez, Ronaldo, and Alfredo di Stéfano.

Ronaldo went on to score 33 goals in his first season and 53 the next season, though Real Madrid finished second in the league to Barcelona both times.

Irina Shayk Nude Picture For Marc Jacob Charity Campaign

After her nude shoot at Marc Jacob's new T-shirt product for charity campaign called "Protect The Skin You're In" appeared, Cristiano's colleague at RM couldn't stand not to tease him,most of the time.

"Irina Shayk posed nude for a magazine and some of the players made ​​several copies of her picture and started to put them in many places in the locker room," said a source at the Daily Mirror.

And it didn't stop there.

"Of course, there are some graffiti and (naughty) notes added to the several 'areas' in the picture,"added the source.

Since 2008, Marc Jacobs succeeded in convincing a number of celebrities to take off their clothes after a series of their charity campaign,under the cooperation with NYU Cancer Institute. Dita Von Teese, Victoria Beckham and Marisa Miller was previous star who agreed on taking the nude picture.

Cristiano Ronaldo Wears New Nike Superflyl Boots in El Clasico

Just as Nike promised, Cristiano wore a new Superfly boots at El Clasico match. Cool boots, but I prefer the colorfull one.
This boots has helped him to shoots more accurate on his free-kick, although the second one was a bit too high.

Cris penalty was easy, but he made it a little too much to the right, almost out from the goalpost.

What a match !! Iker the Octopus prediction was right, the match ended in a draw.He must be the next successor for Paul then....

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo both wrote their name on the score board, with penalties.

Although I'm 100% a Real Madrid fan, but I have to admit that Madrid was consider lucky to made it a draw. From the start to the end, Barcelona was lead on the ball possesion.

Moreover,Albiol did an unnecessary thing early on the second half untill he gets a red card, leave Real Madrid with 10 men only. And on second half, Mou replaced ALonso with Adebayor, which became a waste of thing. During his little time on the pitch, he made too many mistakes, not to mention his lazyness on catching up the ball...,

OK, now with the ref. It has been said that during the match, the ref was taking side on Real Madrid. It wasn't entirely true. But there are the most fatal thing on the match that the ref missed in judging :

He should gave Villa a penalty after Casillas stop him on a penalty box. Instead stopping the ball, Casillas catch Villa's feet, till he fell. It was a clear penalty.

For Real Madrid, at 80 minute, the ref should give Alves a red card, due to his foul on Marcelo at the penalty area. Marcelo gets a penalty though, but still, the last 10 minutes, they should be playing 10 on 10.

But in the end, we were so relief when it ended with 1-1 draw.
Another new point on the match, Cris finally ends his goaless curse in El Clasico. Maybe that's why he was taking the ball after he scored.

Cristiano Ronaldo in 'Real Cristiano' Interview

With El Clasico ahead us, Cristiano interview in Real Madrid TV seems to be forgotten. So here I'm going to post some of his interview at 'Real Cristiano', but just the interesting part. The interview was 45 minutes in length, and most of it we already heard. You know, same stuff about his family, club, childhood, friends.....

OK, here are the facts that you should know....

What is  the music to Cristiano Ronaldo?

Singing is not what I do best, but sing a little bit.The music drags all of us, we hear it before workouts, parties, part of Real Madrid's family. Music is part of my life. I've grew up in music, I like it because it relaxes me before the match.


What is your favorite music?

I like all music, depends on the mood,...it depends on many factors.

Marcelo's always smiling. How do you see him?

A positive person. Marcelo is a special person , every day we laugh, joking. He is a very happy guy, and gives a good influence. I consider myself a lucky guy because I'm easy to get close with a person who jokes a lot.I love the team, it's phenomenal. It's easy to grow and learn in such environment.

What thing that you can't tollerate?

A lie. It's the worst thing for me. I can accept a positive lie, but it's a thing that gets me angry.

At age 16 you realized that your life would be for football?

Yes, I started to feel it. Training with Sporting's first team meant that the studies had to change, times were very complicated. I had to study at night and there came a time when football could not reconcile with the studies. I chose football and I think it was the best decision.

Remember how much you got paid in your first paycheck in football?

50 euros. And I paid for books and notebooks for school.

Lots of good advice. It wouldn't be fair to say only one. My coaches, former players, are important people ... I always listen to people who have a good idea of ​​football.

How is Cristiano as a dad ?

I'm good dad. I'm still learning. It's a feeling you can not put into words. It's impressive to wake up and see a person, your own flesh and blood. I'm living a very special moment in my life.

What's the strangest thing you have done to go unnoticed?

Once in New York asked the driver to drop me off at a site near the hotel because there were many journalists waiting at the door. I pretended to be drunk with a friend, and entered the hotel with our head down.

Nereida Gallardo Warns Cristiano Ronaldo "Irina Is Clever"

After 3 years romance with Cristiano Ronaldo was over, Nereida Gallardo continues on talking (mostly criticizing )about the Portuguese player, and if not,.....his girlfriend Irina Shayk.

In an interview with Italian Gossip, the Majorcan beauty have said that Irina is taking advantage on CR, and advised the Real Madrid forward to becarefull with her.
"Irina is so beautiful and clever. She knows that he enjoys being with his image. I don't know if she's the right woman for Cristiano," said Nereida.

Not all what she said is untrue, since we can see that Irina was quickly became famous after her relationship with Ronaldo spread on the media. Before, no one knows about the Russian model, and suddenly she appears in almost every magazine with bikinis on it. The modest Irina was gone, and changed into a bit cocky highclass model, who only want to appear in a prestige show.

Like in early March, when she visited Ronaldo during his recovery after Malaga. At the airport, Iri was waiting for a team of journalist from Spanish program 'Salvame'. Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates his 28th goal in La liga this season against Bilbao yesterday. The Portuguese only played on the second half. However, Messi beat him for the el pichichi title since on the same night, Messi scored 2 goals against Almeria, which mean he already collects 29 goals.

Back to the match, Kaka had the chance to add his goal with Los Blancos, with 2 penalty kicks.


Cris goal has wrapped the match with 0-3 to Real Madrid victory.

Real Madrid Team Arrived At Bilbao (8 April 2011)

After completing their training at Valdebebas, the dream team was leaving Madrid to Bilbao, yesterday night. They landed about 40 minutes later.

On the airport, they were greeted by 200 fans infront of the gates, trying to take a peek on their favorite players. But it didn't take too long before they went to Hotel Silken Gran Domine with a bus, to get some rest....

...But not for Pepe and Marcelo. They greeted the fans in a close meeting on the hotel for photographs, and autographs on postcards, shirts, ball and posters. Both Pepe and Marcelo was kind to the kids who enjoyed on getting to know their idols.

Ronaldo closed the victory with a bait from Kaka, and although he wasn't fit 100%, his performance were awesome.

Real Madrid collected 4 goals yesterday against Hotspur. Adebayor with 2 goals, Angel di Maria one goal,and Ronaldo ended the match with the fourth goal. The result definitely will smoothen their victory on the second leg match.

Playing with 10 players early on the match, Hotspur totally couldn't match the host, who played aggresivelly from minute 1. Redknapp, who consider that last night was his worse night ever, had to go home with zero goal.

For the second leg match, they have to win 5-0 in order to win, and that's a mission impossible for Spurs.
